The Cape Cycle Tour, previously known as the Cape Argus Cycle Tour, ranks as the world’s largest individually timed cycle race with over 35 000 participants.  The 102 km route travels incredible coastal routes around the peninsula of the magnificent Cape of Good Hope including the spectacular Chapman’s peak Drive…

For the last five years we have partnered with the Cape Cycle Tour and Exodus travels as the tour’s official travel partner and sponsor.  Every year Exodus run’s a cycling tour through Cape Town, Hermanus and the Winelands which culminates with entry’s to the cycle tour.  The trip is extremely popular with a number of repeat client’s booking annually and this year we expect to run two departures with approximately 30 passengers attending from countries around the world…


Our team migrates down to Cape Town annually for this event and hosts a stall at the popular Cycle Expo which is held at Green point stadium the week before the race.  If you are in Cape Town or are planning to cycle, please pop in and say hello.  While we were initially concerned about the impact of the event on the city’s water reserves during such a severe drought we were pleased to read the following response from the organiser of the race this week:


The Cycle Tour is definitely on and we have arranged that we have a zero impact on the Municipal water resource and are working with suppliers to ensure that we have a zero impact on the city’s water supply.
