As another year begins we would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their support and for booking their adventure travel holidays with us. As a responsible travel operator we book trips through companies that adhere to responsible travel principals. This means that each Earth Wanderer tour that you book with us will give back to the region that it operates in in some way. Here are a few of the projects that our partners have planned for 2020:

2020 will see Wildlife Photographer and Exodus Tour Leader, Paul Goldstein, donning his famous tiger suit one last time to take on the London and Everest marathons in an awe-inspiring quest to raise £100,000 for tiger conservation work. If you fancy a challenge let us know and we can arrange for you to join him on Everest too.

Early next year a new scholarship programme will be launched for female porters on Kilimanjaro. Over the next 3 years Exodus’ ambition is to enable 30 women (many of them single parents with minimal household income) to train as mountain guides, significantly improving their employment opportunities in a traditionally male-dominated field.
There are also projects planned to protect ancient forest reserves and further projects to educate children in destination communities about the benefits of looking after their environment.

Happy 2020!  May it be a good year!
